After 100's of years of making others $, we writers need a new approach

I’ve been writing since I was 17. My partner, Vincent Triola, started early as well. I had tremendous luck and good fortune, and Vincent had a different type of success and good fortune.

We both made pretty good money compared to most people who sit down at a keyboard and invest time and energy into writing.

My path was more traditional; I used charm, ass-kissing, and desperation to win over people in the BIG commercial publishing world. Vincent used savvy, real-world street smarts and his deep knowledge of people's laziness, dishonesty, and desperation. I published a much-praised, award-winning novel. Vincent wrote 24K papers for people hiring him to do their writing for them (college students AND college professors).

We were and still are victims of an economic system that puts profit above ALL else.

Time for that shit to end. We want to be read, and we have no interest in making the 1% class of owners and profiters more money off our talents, enterprise, and productions.

Vincent would happily tell you that my techno-skills in the world of today are well below sub-optimal: I’m a fuckin’ caveman, a chimpanzee, an absolute idiot (which is an insult to all well-meaning innocent idiots).

My point is that if I can learn this new method of making work that increases in value over time, is available to readers, and helps other writers find homes for your creative works,—If I can learn to do this, ANYBODY can.
