Well, obviously I got your letter. I showed it to Mom and offered to show it to Joey but he didn’t want to see it.
I figure it’s best to just be straight with Dad. Anything I try and cover-up now, I might have to fix later. What’s the point?
I’m sorry to hear about your cancer. I don’t know if you knew it or not but Mom had to battle cancer a little over a year ago. She’s better—for now at least. It would have been nice to know back then that I still had a parent alive but maybe we’ll talk about later.
