It wouldn’t be so bad if Jesus himself hadn’t been so pissed at hypocrites lying.

There is such a great range of lying in the world. In our western, Abrahamic religions (Christian/Jewish/Islam) where we have the Ten Commandments (God’s dictation to Moses) lying is referenced only in the sense of perjury, as in “bearing false witness.” Yet, I’m not sure this means that all other kinds of lying are okay, because we’re taught from childhood and always, otherwise.
