Joey opens my bedroom door without knocking. “So you got Wally into trouble huh?”
I look up at him. He must have listened to our conversation on the other downstairs phone. I imitate his tone and question, “So you’re spying on me huh?”
Joey ignores this, “If you guys would just obey the rules this kind of thing wouldn’t happen.”
I say, “That’s true Joey. You’re right about that, but when rules are too stupid to even make sense, I mean Wally wasn’t driving drunk, he had a busted taillight, doesn’t it ever bug you to just blindly go along with everything?”
