I’m pretty sure that mom still hasn’t received a letter from Dad. First off, I’ve made a point of bringing in the mail every day and nothing has come from Canada. Also, Mom would mention it to me, she’d tell me for sure, I know she would.
It’s been three days since Wally and I went to that AA meeting. It’s Saturday and I just phoned Wally to see what he was up to.
“Sally and I are going to lunch,” he says.
“Oh really?” I ask, surprised and, I admit it, a tiny bit jealous.
