Regular Old Stupid Shit Vs. Hybrid, Politically STUPID shit

A very shallow deep dive

Well now ain't that the truth! Sometimes you gotta just shake your head and wonder what's gotten into folks these days, am I right or no? Take a walk down any busy street in America for example - see all those fancy cars buzzing about with their drivers lookin' like they got more sense than 12 preachers on Sunday. You know that ain't the case now do you?

Then there be them people at work who claim to have an opinion or two, and don’t forget how important it is too...only for 'em to open up mouth wide enough ya could stick a sock in theyre throat when somethin' gets said, then close it back tighter than the top of that pickle jar you keep under your bed from summer.

Or worse yet - there be those who think everyone else's opinion should count as much as their own...even if what comes outta mouth is dumber'n a box o rocks.

Then we got social media and all its lovely little surprises, with folks sayin' whatever they like without nothin', not even common sense to stop 'em. Sometimes you just gotta sit there starin’ at the screen goin’, "Did... did I read that right?"

But hey now - ain't nobody perfect! We all got moments where we wish we could take back what comes outta mouth or think a thing through before puttin' finger on button to share our brilliance with whole wide world. And maybe, just maybe sometimes the only way you can tell them apart is by how they vote come election time - because lord knows that says somethin’ about 'em.

So yes kiddo - it's hard not notice stupid when it stares at ya face from every corner of life like a big ol' cow lookin’ down its nose. But remember, sometimes the only way to deal with this kinda thing is by keepin’ your own chin up and know you ain't responsible for everyone else’s stupidity... just as they should know their not responsilbe for yours either.

Now isn’t that somethin'? Sure feels like it anyway! And I'm Buk. The author who tells the truth, no matter how bitter or sweet it might be. So y’all go on now and live your best lives - cuz there ain't nobody perfect... except maybe me...and you know what? That's debatable too!

Politics - ain’t nothin’ like it when it comes ta stirrin' up folks, huh boys'n girls?

Now you gotta remember this from ol' Buk here: I don't give much thought to the finer points politics 'cept for knowin''bout what kinda taxes make my paychecks stretch a little further each month. But man oh boy - get that many people talkin’ at once? Well then it's like lightnin', strikes, and rainbows all rolled into one big ol' mess.

Politics is just the perfect storm of stupidity too see 'cause folks forget what we're supposed to be here for...just livin our lives peaceable. Instead they go around shout'n how right their side are (or at least so it seems) while ignor'in everyone else's point of view - like some kinda religious cult with one rulebook and many interpretations.

Then there’s the whole 'follow your leader' thing people do when politics come into play... which just reminds me that no matter who you elect, they ain't gonna be perfect. They're only human remember? Same as everyone else in this crazy mixed up world of ours - but somehow their mistakes don’t seem so bad compared to others'.

And the way these leaders twist words and ideas around 'til all sense flies outta window is somethin’ right special too see... like watch'n a magician pull rabbit from hat then say "I swear that wasn't there!" So we let it slide, but only cause their word's backed up with power an' authority - not because they made any damn good points.

Politics? It makes most of us feel dumber than two rocks clapped together...but hey ain’t nobody perfect right kiddos?

Well that does about cover this one. Politics done got folks so worked up 'bout whose gonna do what next instead rememberin’ to just live their own lives in peace with neighbors an' all, it’s enough make a grown man cry sometimes.

But look on the bright side - at least we've still got beer! And good books too...like mine of course. What more could ya ask for right?
